Bristol Piston Refrigeration Compressor
- Bristol air conditioning compressors reduce costs across the entire product lifespan in the application.
- Lower minimum capacity of the compressor and better use comfort of the air conditioner
- They support system design for high efficiency performance and for the use of alternative refrigerants for light commercial, commercial and industrial HVAC applications such as rooftops units, chillers, process cooling, packaged units etc.

Bristol is produced in the United States and is mainly used in large shopping malls, factory central air conditioners, chillers and peripheral refrigeration equipment. It mainly has the following properties. The exhaust temperature must not exceed 125°C (at the exhaust pipe 150mm-200mm away from the compressor), but it must be 28°C higher than the saturation temperature corresponding to the exhaust pressure. The temperature at the center of the bottom of the casing during thermal insulation shall not exceed 107.2°C, but must be at least 28°C higher than the saturation temperature corresponding to the suction pressure. The temperature of the motor coil is measured by the resistance method, and the measured temperature shall not exceed 129.4°C. When the outdoor ambient temperature is high, the suction temperature should have a superheat degree of not less than 2.8°C, and the minimum ambient temperature should be at least -29°C, otherwise the compressor will be damaged. The maximum power-on frequency is “six on and six off” per hour.
